Running for seven magical weeks from Friday 17th November 2023 to Saturday 6th January 2024, Edinburgh’s Christmas transforms the city centre with festive fun for all the family, including traditional Christmas Markets, classic funfair rides, spectacular outdoor events, live outdoor events, delicious food and drink, and so much more… so start dreaming of hot chocolate and mulled wine, and get ready to join in the festive fun in Edinburgh this winter. Last year we welcomed over 2.5M locals and visitors to Christmas attractions throughout the city centre, and we can’t wait to see you all again this year.

Edinburgh’s Christmas Markets are located in the heart of the historic city centre, transforming Princes Street Gardens into a spectacular winter wonderland, lined with beautifully decorated wooden chalets packed full of unique gifts, local arts and crafts, handmade Christmas decorations and mouth-watering festive delights.
